Another 6 months had passed since Hinata had left Konoha. All her friends were sitting at the Ramen-shop. All her friends except for Kiba. “Where is Kiba?” Ino asked. “He is getting a message at the Hokage's tower. He was asked to pick it up.” Shino answered. “What kind of message?”
“A message from Hinata!” Kiba suddenly appeared into the Shop with an letter in his hands. “You're kidding, right?” everyone asked him. “No really, it's from Hinata. See for yourself.” Kiba said, while sitting down. He handed the letter over to his friends. They obviously took it right away and started reading:

Dear friends and family,

Gomenasai that I didn't let you hear from me sooner, but Akane-san and I were really busy. We've been to at least  14 different towns in the last 9 months, since I left Konoha. I'll tell about it more detailed as soon as I'm back, which should be in another 15 months.
Till now, the “theme” Akane had for this travel has been succesfull. Including the 'Boys' part. For both of us it is, actually. Akane met an old friend of her and they started dating. He's really cool. He has pure white ear and real bright eyes. They look so kawaii together. His name is Gaya Shirou and he's an traveling ninja. Not bound to an villege.
But Akane-san isn't the only one who found love. I too, have an boyfriend now. He's a bit older then me, but it's only five years. His hair is long and dark (Just what Akane-san thought I liked in a guy) and his eyes are almost as dark as his hair. Normally he is very stern, but somehow I always menage to make him laugh. Next to that, he eccepts me for who I am and what I can do. Not for what I should be able to.
Anyway, I'll write to you another time. I miss you.

They stopped reading. All of them looked at each other. They just couldn't believe it. Hinata... Had a boyfriend! “Wow, so she really is over Naruto.” Ino said. “It looks like that.” Sakura and Tenten agreed. “I wonder what his name is.” Shikamaru said, rereading the letter. “What do you mean? It's right in there.” Kiba said confused. “No” Shikamaru said. “There's one name; Gaya Shirou. But that's the boyfriend of Akane. Hinata's boyfriend is nameless in this letter.” Everyone looked at the letter again. He was right. “Why wouldn't she tell us his name?” Ino asked. But nowone knew the answer.


“Aaah! Ita-kun stop!” Hinata yelled.  It was November and the first snow had fallen. It was late in the afternoon and Hinata, Itachi and Akane were enjoying themself in the freshly fallen snow. Akane was sitting on a rock, drawing her besnowed surroundings while Hinata was the target of Itachi's snowballs. When she threw one back at him, it landed straight on his face, which made him fall on the ground. “Oh Ita-kun. I'm so sorry!” she screamed while running to him. When she got next to him, she saw that his eyes were closed. Hinata started to feel nervous. “I-itachi? A-are you a-allright?” she asked him. No response. She bend her head a bit closer to his head, hopefully finding out that he was still breathing. Just when she was just an inch away, Itachi opened his eyes and wrapped her in his arms. He tilted her up in the air and swung her around. “Waaaaah! S-Stop Itachi!! You're getting me dizzy!” Hinata succeeded to yell at him. When he stopped and put her back on the ground, Itachi tried to kiss her. “You think you get any after that? No way pal!” Hinata said, as she walked away, leaving an disappointed Itachi behind.

“Aaaw, you made him sad.” Akane said teasing when Hinata came close to her. “It's his own fault. Then he shouldn't have done that. He scared the hell out of me with that prank of his.” Hinata said. “Hey people, dinner is ready!” Shirou yelled towards them. “We're coming!” Akane yelled abck, and she got up from her place.


Hinata woke up in her hotel bed. At first she was not able to sleep in a unknown bed, but after 10 months not having her own bed around, she was happy with the few times they got into an hotelroom instead of in a tent outside. Especcially around this time of year. It was 27 December and there was snow fallen out of the sky constantly. Wait a minute... 27 December? Hinata thought. “Oh my god! I had forgotten about my own birthday!” she yelled shocked. She quickly got dressed and went to see if the others were up yet. She wanted to do something fun together. But then she realized they probably didn't even know that it was her birthday. Akane may know, but she's really awful with things like this. I haven't told Itachi about my birthday and Shirou-kun is not even bound to know. Hinata sighed. This was going to be first birthday outside of Konoha and nowone knew about it. Hinata decided to walk outside for a bit.

“Hinata, are you awake yet?” Akane asked infront of the door. “Are you searching for the pretty lady in that room?” a five year old girl asked. Akane looked at her. “Yes indeed. Have you seen her?” Akane asked. The girl nodded. “She went outside a little while ago. She was looking sad. Did she get hurt?” The girl asked. “Don't worry. She'll be fine. Thank you anyway.” Akane went downstairs.
“And?” Itachi asked. “Apparently she went outside a little while ago.” Akane said. “We just have to wait till she gets back.” Itachi sighed. He had hoped he could give her his present now.

It already had gotten pretty dark and Hinata was getting hungry. She hadn't eaten all day so she decided to return to the hotel. Just when she wanted to go to the restaurant she was called by Akane. “Finally! You're here. Come on! You miss your own party!” Akane said and dragged her to the greenhouse. “What do you mean?” Hinata asked. “Don't tell me you forgot your own birthday!?” Akane asked shocked. “N-no... but... you don't know it's my birthday, right?” Hinata asked confused. I was so sure about that. Hinata slapped herself mentally. “Hey, we're your friends! Offcourse we know your birthday!” Akane said. “Now come on.”
When Hinata came into the small greenhouse she saw that it was decrated with several colors of banners and balloons. There was even a birthday cake. “I feel so stupid right now.” she said. “Don't be, hina-chan.” Itachi said and kissed her on her cheek. “Happy birthday.” “Arigato Itachi.”

The whole evening went great. Hinata got a new photobook from Shirou, a new music plaer from Akane and a beautifull necklace from Itachi. It was a silver one with a bird-shaped pendant. But now it was getting late and Hinata was getting tired. She asked Itachi if he could walk her back to the room and he agreed. “So, did you enjoy this day?” Itachi asked when they arrived infront of her door. “Yeah I did. Arigato.” “Good, then I'll be off now.” Itachi said and he kissed her on the mouth. Hinata kissed him back and somethin inside Hinata made her to hold on to the kiss. She eventually also deepened it. While she had her back towards the door, she tried to open it and finally she succeeded. Itachi broke the kiss then, thinking she wanted to go and sleep. But Hinata asked him to stay and started to kiss him again. She brought him into her room, not breaking the kiss, and closed the door behind them.
Hinata had brought it to so far but now she wasn't sure what came over her. She kept kissing Itachi and eventually she started to pull out his shirt, while Itachi started to pull out her shirt. After they were shirtless they lay on Hinata's bed and repeated the session with their other clothes. When they both had gotten rid of the last piece of clothes, Itachi entered her.

Hinata woke up because of the sun shining on her face. She had forgotten to close the curtains yesterday. Hinata looked to her side. There he was; Uchiha Itachi. The former S-class criminal, the bringer of the Uchiha massacre and the supposedly dead brother of Sasuke, now in the bed of Hyuuga Hinata, heir to the Hyuuga clan. She smiled at her lover and kissed him softly on his mouth before getting a shower. At this moment Hinata was sure she never had felt happier then how she felt now.

Around seven weeks had passed since Hinata's birthday. Now, they were preparing for another party. “How old is Akane-san going to be?” Itachi asked. “Whoo, don't ask that with her around Ita-kun.” Hinata said. “Why not?”  “Then I'll hit you.” Akane said, walking into the room. “Aaw, Akane-chan. We wanted to surprise you. Now it's ruined.” Shirou said, pouting. “Don't worry Shirou, you can surprise me later this evening” she said with a double meaning in her voice. Hinata rolled her eyes. Suddenly she felt something in her stomach. She put her arms around it and closed her eyes, taking slow breaths. “Hina-chan, are you okay?” Itachi asked, now standing next to her. Just as Hinata wanted to say 'yes' she fainted.
“Hinata-chan!” Itachi screamed shocked. He cought her right when she fainted. “Let me take a look at her.” Akane said. She wasn't as good as Tsunade, but Akane too knew medical ninjutsu. As Akane was examening Hinata, you saw at Itachi's face that he was worried sick about her. Akane on the contrary, suddenly got a smile on her face. “What? What is it?” Itachi asked almost panicking. “Calm down Itachi. She's going to be fine. Just put her in bed and I'll do one little test when she's awake. Just to make sure if I'm right.” Akane said. “Oh okay.” Itachi said, still a bit unsecure. He picked Hinata up bridal style and took her to her room. When he arrived there he sat himself in a chair next to her bed, not planning on leaving before he was sure she was okay.

Itachi was still sitting in the chair next to Hinata's bed. She was out for an half day and outside it already started to get dark again. Itachi was playing with a little black square box. Maybe it is too early? But I do really love her. What if she doesn't feel the same and just plays with me? Nah, Hinata isn't that kind of girl. He opened the little box and looked at the contents. A small simple silver ring with one small dark blue stone on it. Itachi sighed and he looked at Hinata again.
His eyes widened when he saw that she was awake now and looking at the still open box in his hands. He cleared his throut “How are you feeling?” he asked her, nervously. “I-im fine. Itachi... What is that?” Hinata asked, pointing to the ring, “Uhm...” Itachi sweatdropped. I had planned this way differently. he thought.
“Hinata...” he started “Well I was planning on doing this today, however not really like this. But...” Itachi took a deep breath and sat on one knee infront of Hinata. Hinata eyes widened even more then they already were. oh my god oh my god oh my god she thought, happy and yet nervous. “Hinata, I know we're not really the kind of couple people would expect to see, but... I just can't change the fact that I.... I love you, Hinata. If you love me too, would you want to become my wife?” he asked her. Tears dwelled up from Hinata's corner of her eyes. “Yes.” she said weak and wth a small smile. Itachi was shocked. Sure he had hoped for it, but somehow he expected an other answer. “What?” he asked, just to be sure. “Yes Itachi. I would love to become your wife.” Hinata said and she wrapped her arms around him. Still a bit stunned Itachi returned the hug before they let go to put the ring around Hinata's finger.

“Well, isn't this an wonderfull picture.” a voice suddenly said. Hinata looked up and saw Akane standing in the now open doorway. “Itachi, if you don't mind. Would you please give us some privacy? Then I can do that test.” Akane said. Itachi looked at Hinata with worry but a reassuring nod from her made him leave anyway.
“First of all... Congratulations with your engagement.” Akane said with a smile. “Arigato. SO what test is it?” Hinata asked. But instead of an answer, Hinata was handed a little longshaped box. “This.” Akane said. Hinata looked at it and her eyes widened again. “But this is a... a...” hinata started. “A pregnancy test.” Akane said. Hinata looked at her with skock. “I'm p-pregnant?” she almost whispered. “Possibly yes. That's why I want you to do that test” Akane explained. “oh o-okay.” Hinata said nervous. Luckily enough she just needed to go to the bathroom, so she was able to do it right away.

“What kind of test is taking so long?” Itachi asked nervous at Shirou. “Don't worry, she'll be finished soon. These kind of things won't take long. It has been barely ten minutes.” Shirou said. “What kind of things? Do you know what test Hinata gets?” Itachi asked him. Shirou just nodded.  “Well? WHAT TEST!?” Itachi was going to loose it. He needed to know if there was someting he could do. “You'll see when she gets here.” Shirou just said calm. Itachi's eye started to twitch doesn't he get I'm worried sick because of Hinata? Little dwarf that he is.
“Hey, you didn't just thought that I was a little dwarf, now did you?” Shirou asked glaring at Itachi. “Who? Me? Never. I wouldn't dare.” Itachi sweatdropped. “Good.”

“Hinata, are you ready? The test is finshed.” Akane asked towards the bathroom. Hinata just had done the test, but now she was throwing up. When Hinata came back in the room she looked like a ghost. “God, I'm happy I didn't looked like that a month ago.” Akane said when she saw Hinata. “What do you mean?” Hinata asked confused. “Well... according to this stick here...” Akane pointed at the pregnancy test “... we're both pregnant. Congratulations!” Akane said.
Hinata didn't know what shocked her more. The fact that she was pragnant, or the fact that she pregnant at the same time as Akane. Eitherway.... She fainted.
Akane sighed. “Yep, I'm also glad I didn't do THAT.” she said while rolling her eyes and putting Hinata back in bed.



It had been almost 4 months ago that Hinata had the weirdest day of her life. First she gets proposed by Itachi, to marry him. An few minutes later she discovers she's pregnant. Still, Hinata was happy. She laid her hand on her stomach around the place she knew the baby was growing. Since the group of four now had two pragnant woman in it, they were moving a lot slower then before, but nowone seem to bother. “What's the next stop Akane?” Hinata asked. “Hidden Rain.” Akane said. “Why Hidden Rain?” Hinata asked. “We need a check-up and Hidden Rain is the closest hospital from where we are.” Akane said. “But what do we do if they find out that Itachi is still alive? She would try to kill him. You know that Kisame came from there, so they would be keeping an eye for possible Akatsuki members.” Hinata said worried. “Don't worry you. Everything will be fine. You just focus on your wedding day and keeping your baby fit, then your busy enough as it is.” Akane said. “Hai.”
“We found a shortcut, but it's a bit risky to get over it though.” Shirou said when he came back from the scouting trip with Itachi. “But we have two strong men to watch over us, right Hinata?” Akane asked with a grin. Hinata couldn't help then to laugh. “Yeah you're right. We trust you guys. If you think we can use that road, then we'll trust you on your word.” Hinata agreed. “Okay then.” Itachi said. “Next stop: Hidden Rain.”
